- Network Operation Centre (NOC), comes to South Yorkshire -
NetSumo, the network support specialist today announced the one-year anniversary of its working partnership with Digital City Region (DCR), the South Yorkshire managed IT service provider. DCR provides customers with independent, expert advice, on areas of connectivity; Internet managed services, cloud services. Having worked with NetSumo since its launch in early 2010, the white label NOC package enables DCR’s broader connectivity, Internet managed services, and cloud service provisions.
By bridging the gap in the managed network services market it brings enterprise-class services to forward thinking small to medium organisations via its channel partners. NetSumo’s 24/7 white label NOC package now gives DCR and key partners such as Digital Exchange (in Sheffield), and Lakeside IT (in Doncaster), a second and third layer of network support with connectivity issues, and a peace of mind that is invaluable in business.
George Taylor, CEO at Digital City Region commented: “Connectivity is the core of our business; whether it be internally, or from a customer facing perspective, network connectivity and uptime is key. In light of its reputation and experience in the sector, we chose NetSumo to build our entire network; from the infrastructure, to its implementation.
NetSumo built and now manage our mission critical network, which enables us to focus our attentions on our core business competences and channel support.
We have been working with NetSumo since DCR went live in early 2010, and their personal touch and ability to understand our key business drivers and challenges is what makes them such a valued partner. They not only take the risk out of our business networking in-house, but also act as a future-facing advisor on trends and technological advances, keeping us one step ahead of the pack.”
Alex Cruz Farmer, MD NetSumo commented: “With more than five years’ experience providing and understanding strategies in network management consultancy to ISPs and SMEs, we understand the individual needs of each and every one of our customers and, as such, we provide them with wholly unique network solutions. From the smallest, most basic networking issues, to a full-scale white label NOC- which is the service we provide for DCR.
Having worked with DCR since it began in 2010, means we understand its core business demands and as such, we are able to provide solutions and assistance at the drop of a hat, alleviating any potential lag time that could prove costly to both DCR and its customers. With the Midlands and South Yorkshire increasingly growing as technological hubs, we look forward to working with and advising DCR for many years to come,” added Alex.
