Paul Farmer - Finance Director
Paul sits on the board of NetSumo and is also the company’s Finance Director. His responsibilities are board based and include managing all legal, HR and financial aspects of the business. Paul is also responsible for company administration and overseeing the commercial side of daily operations.
His background is in software development and he holds one of the UK’s first ever degrees in computer science from Brunel University, from which he graduated in 1975. His career spans many years working with electronics and communications within the air traffic control industries. Here he specialised in radar and instrument landing software and systems.
Paul is a keen biker who holds a RoSPA Advanced Rider Certificate and a National Diploma in Advanced Motorcycle Instruction. When not overseeing the commercial aspects of NetSumo, Paul enjoys touring Europe on his BMW motorcycle.
Living in Brighton for the past 30 years, Paul is married to Christine and has two children, one of whom grew up to launch NetSumo.
